Our faculty are student-centered and create unique ethnic and gender studies coursework that is writing- and project-intensive. We seek to do this culturally powerful and historically informed work on race, class, gender, and ethnicity in collaboration with all departments and programs here at Westfield State University. Our work is both academically and community focused—with many events, faculty panels, films, guest speakers, and internship opportunities.
